Nalen Gurer Payes (Rice Pudding with Date Molasses)
Gobindo Bhog rice (this rice has aroma all its own)
Date Molasses (Solid Type)
Boil the milk with bay leaves on medium heat in a thick bottom pan, stirring continuously
When it’s boiled add the rice and let it cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
Stir and cook for another 5-7 minutes stirring so it doesn’t get burned.
After the rice is almost done, add the gur little by little.
Now cook it on low heat till the milk reduces and the rice is fully done.
Sprinkle chopped dry fruit on it and mix well.
Serve hot/chilled in a short glass and garnish with little bit of Nalen Gur.
