Khejur Amsattwar Chatni (Date and Dried Mango Pulp Sweet Pickle)
It is made from Dried Mango Pulp, Dates, Tomato and sugar. The taste of it is sweet and tangy. It is also known as Meethi chutney or Sweet chutney. In Hindi, it is called Khajur-aam ki chutney. Generally it served before desserts.

Recipe - Khejur Amsattwar Chatni
Instructions
  1. Soak the all ingredients except tomato in the water for 3-4 hrs
  2. Smash the dates and remove the seeds & keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan and add the Nigella seeds.
  4. When Nigella seeds are spluttering put the tomato and fry well until tomatoes are soft and smooth.
  5. Add turmeric powder, salt & sugar.
  6. Add dates, Dried mango-pulp (Aamsattwa) and water and cook it for 10 min in a low flame with cover.
  7. Add resins, and cook in medium heat for 7-8 min.
  8. When the gravy becomes thick & sticky, keep the chutney in a glass bowl.
